What we build as your pool contractor
Every pool we build is concrete, shot on site with gunite or shotcrete, so the shape follows your yard instead of a factory mold.
Concrete pool construction Gunite or shotcrete shells over steel, sized to the water you want.
Pool and spa construction A raised or flush spa that goes up with the pool, not years later.
Custom pool design Shapes, sun shelves, bubblers, deck jets and LED lights drawn around your lot.
Pool decks Pavers or travertine set on a compacted base once the coping is on.
Pool equipment installation Variable-speed pump, filter, heat pump plus a salt cell on one equipment pad.
What a new pool costs
Our pool price is one number per square foot of water surface, and the spa and sun shelf each carry a fixed price.
- Concrete pool (gunite or shotcrete)
$230 per sq ft of water surface
Includes Design, signed plans and permits, excavation, steel, plumbing, shell, waterline tile, coping, standard pump and filter, white plaster finish and start-up.
- Attached spa
$14,000 per spa
Includes Raised or flush concrete spa built with the pool, spillover, jets and its own heater connection.
- Sun shelf (tanning ledge)
$6,000 per shelf
Includes Shallow ledge about 9 to 12 in deep at one end of the pool, finished with the pool.
Labor and materials included, in US dollars, October 2026. The pool is priced per square foot of water surface (length × width). Spa, sun shelf and equipment upgrades are added at a fixed price each. Design, signed plans and permits are included. Site surprises such as rock, high groundwater or tight access are priced after the visit, before we start.
Measure the length and width of water you want, then run the numbers in our pool cost calculator.
From backyard to first swim in 5 steps
Hiring a pool company for a new build takes five steps, from your phone to the first swim, and the first two cost you nothing.
- You text us photos of the backyard, the side access and the spot you have in mind.
- We reply with a first price for the water size you want.
- We visit, measure the yard and sketch the pool with you.
- An architect or engineer signs and seals the plans, then we pull the permit with its sub-permits.
- We dig, set the steel and plumbing, shoot the shell, finish it and walk you through start-up.
Each stage and its inspections are written out in how we build a pool. For step one, see what to send for a free estimate.
Concrete or fiberglass
We build in concrete so the pool can match the lot, the setbacks and the extras on your list. A fiberglass pool arrives as one factory piece, and road transport rules usually cap it near 16 ft wide. A spa, a sun shelf or a raised wall becomes part of the same concrete structure. Upkeep and lifespan go head to head in our gunite vs fiberglass comparison.
Building in South Florida
Digging here often means breaking limestone, and with a high water table many pool digs hit groundwater before the steel goes in. We plan the rock work and the pumping before excavation day, and dewatering gets permitted where the county or city requires it. Pumping and discharge rules are in our guide to building with a high water table.
Where we build
We build across Miami-Dade and Broward, starting with these seven cities.
Pinecrest Ranch houses on lots near an acre, with room for a large pool and a spa beside it.
Coral Gables Mediterranean Revival homes, city design review and groundwater close to the surface in low spots.
Kendall Unincorporated, so the county issues the permit. Many homes here still have no pool.
Doral Newer homes on compact lots, where the HOA signs off before the city permit.
Weston Master-planned since 1984 on the edge of the Everglades, with many homes on lakes.
Parkland Wide lots and lots of kids, so the safety barrier is planned with the pool.
Southwest Ranches One-acre minimum lots with easy machine access and long runs to the equipment.
What changes from one city to the next is compared across the cities we serve. Permit steps and build time each get a page in our pool construction guides.
Frequently asked questions
Do you build pools in Broward as well as Miami-Dade?
Yes. We work in both counties, from Coral Gables and Kendall in Miami-Dade to Weston and Parkland in Broward. The permit comes from the county or the city, depending on the address.
Do you resurface or repair existing pools?
No. We only build new pools, so resurfacing, weekly cleaning, equipment repair and leak detection fall outside our work. Screen enclosures we coordinate with an aluminum contractor and quote after a visit.
Does a new pool add value to a Miami home?
Mostly it adds use. A national survey of homeowners ranks a pool among the outdoor projects people enjoy most, while a sale tends to recover only part of what it cost.
